The Hiding sun.
However sometimes it rains in paradise, which sets the scene for some very nice colours on the evening skyline but living in London I see a fair amount of rain so with the sky pouring perfect time to catch a movie.
Now I’ve heard a lot about Limegrove Luxury Cinema situated in the plush Limegrove Lifestyle Centre on what is known locally as the platinum coast of Barbados.

I felt a bit peckish on arrival, so we stopped off at one of the restaurants downstairs for a quick bite. Opa Greek resturant caught my eye. The Mahi Mahi Quesadilla was okay, I guess, but could be much better if seasoned correctly.

The cinema is located on the first floor of the mall with a small box office at the top of the escalators. After purchasing your tickets you are ushered to the cinema that is showing your chosen movie. There are two screens, and stepping inside — “Wow!” — you’ve entered movie heaven. First thing to catch my eyes are the row of dark brown leather loungers.
Lounge Seats.
Seats can be pre-selected and movies are delivered in outstanding Dolby 3D and Dolby digital sound for the discerning cinema-goer.
Samosas.
The luxury theatres provide an unmatched service feature, allowing patrons to order food with the touch of a call button and have it delivered right to their seats. Fancy some popcorn, a glass of wine, or some samosas to nibble on during your selected movie? Hit the call button on the table by your seat & a waitress quickly appears to take your orders.

Be warned the portions are big, but if you don’t manage to get through your popcorn just ask them to bag it at the end of the movie.

Now that was well worth the visit but let’s hope the sun comes out to play tomorrow, I feel like another day at the beach, we are in paradise after all 😉
